About this listen
Charlotte Grant who is called 'Charli' by everyone was born in 2001 in Adelaide (Tarntanya), the capital of South Australia. She started playing football aka soccer when she went to primary school. At 19, she decided to move to Europe and Sweden to become an even better player. After winning the Swedish championship with the Malmö side FC Rosengård, she moved to Vittsjö GIK in order to get more playing time. As we spoke, Charli had had 18 appearances with the Australia WNT and scored an epic goal when the "Matildas" ended a 30 loss free streak for European champions England.
