San Diego Country Club, established in 1897, is the only private club in Southern San Diego County. Originally located near Balboa Park, it moved to its current Chula Vista site in 1920, where architect William Watson designed the region’s first all-grass 18-hole course. Known for its rich history and championship pedigree, SDCC has hosted the U.S. Women's Open and U.S. Women's Amateur, and will host the U.S. Senior Women's Open in 2025.
