April is here and change is in the air, in our gardens and all around us! This is a season for change and improvement with our podcast as well! Mike Meyers gave us the signal on SNL to go in wiht our elbows up - it is time to think about how we can self-identify as Canadian Content Creators and to make clear purchase decisions on where we spend our money when we look to hire support for our podcast and support needs.

"Why not put “Made in Canada” in your podcast description? With the US placing tariffs on Canadian businesses, there’s been wide spread interest across the country to “support Canadian” — even if tariffs aren’t necessarily impacting the podcast ecosystem. This is a huge moment, and Canadians want to hear more from Canadians. This is a great time to be explicit about where your podcast is produced and the people behind it to not only make it easier for Apple to feature your show in any future Canadian podcast intitiatives, but also to help listeners find you."

When you can, select Canadian this April - invest in fellow Canadian creators, invite Canadian guests on your show - raise awareness for Canadian Content Creators and encourage others in this space.
