About this listen

Call Me When You Get This began as a voicemail hotline. When you dialed 844-LUV-NOTES, you’d hear a menu: press 1 for heartbreak, 2 for happiness, 3 for longing. etc. On the other end were monologues, memories, and confessions—written and voice-acted like an emotional mixtape.

Now reimagined as a podcast, Call Me When You Get This is a narrative art project told in six parts. Through short stories and real reflections from friends, it explores the messy, tender, and sometimes funny aftermath of love lost and love found.

It’s meant to be heard in full, as one experience.

Set in the parking lot of a Dallas catfish restaurant, you unleash the fury of betrayal. It’s not just the heartbreak—it’s the pattern. The repetition. The disappointment. Sometimes grief comes loud and without apology.
