  • S05 E01 - SAFFL - Elisha Torraville
    Apr 23 2025

It's offseason for bantams, but SAFFL is in full season! The Southern Alberta Female Football League is the pet project of Elisha Torraville, and consists of U19 and U16 girls teams from Red Deer to Okotoks.

Elisha joins the podcast to talk about the league, how it was formed, and how much it has grown. SAFFL plays Canadian rules, 6-a-side, full equipment tackle football on a full-length field narrowed between the numbers.

If you would like more information about SAFFL, please check out their website (www.femalefootballcalgary.ca) or email Elisha directly (femalefootballcalgary@gmail.com).

Cole travels with the CBFA Selects to sunny Las Vegas, but it was no vacation. The team worked hard, and earned the U-14 Championship with a 2-1 record.
