About this listen

It’s time for a little Disney breakfast adventure! 🍳☕🥂

On September 18th, Candice and I will be sitting down for breakfast at Ale & Compass inside Disney’s Yacht Club Resort—and thanks to you, our listeners, the location and the meal are already chosen. Now comes the fun part: you get to pick what I order!

In this short holiday-weekend episode, I walk through the full Ale & Compass breakfast menu—entrées, drinks, sides, and even a few wild cards—and give you my honest takes. From steak & eggs and dark chocolate waffles to crab cake benedict and shrimp & grits, nothing is off-limits. I even dive into the drink list, where your votes could have me sipping a mimosa, a Bloody Mary (heaven help me), or something sparkling at 7:30 a.m.

This is all part of our trip planning arc leading up to our upcoming stay at the Polynesian Village Resort and cruise on the Disney Magic. Think of it as a “choose your own adventure”—Disney breakfast edition.

What you’ll hear in this episode:

  • Why Ale & Compass is one of our favorite EPCOT-area breakfast spots

  • A full walkthrough of the breakfast menu, from hearty classics to adventurous options

  • My unfiltered (and sometimes picky) opinions on what works…and what doesn’t

  • How you can cast your vote and decide what lands on my plate

👉 Your mission: Listen in, then head to our Instagram or Facebook and comment with your picks—entrée, drink, and whether I should spring for the continental enhancement. I’ll tally up the votes before our trip and order exactly what you choose.

This one’s shorter and sweeter, but it’s all about including you in the journey. Thanks for playing along—and stay tuned for upcoming episodes where we’ll break down the big D23 announcements and share more of our trip planning fun.

🎧 So grab a cup of coffee (or maybe a Bloody Mary if you’re braver than me) and come hang out with us at the Hangar Bar.
