Marcia Marcia Brissett-Bailey, BSc, PG Dip (QCG), MA, IPSEA is a career educator, Dyslexia advocate, neurodiversity champion, speaker of intersectionality/dyslexia, and author of 'Black, Brilliant and Dyslexic', a collection of stories and experiences.


She is a WeAreTheCity- Rising Stars100 Winner 2024, Top 50 Influential Neurodivergent Women UK. She has been shortlisted for 2024 on the Shaw Trust Disability Power 100.


A thought leader has been featured in Forbes as a narrative changer, provoking the representation of Dyslexia and neurodiversity. Diverse In—the Global Diversity and Inclusion Embassy —named her one of the top 133 women who changed the world in 2023.


Marcia's collaborative spirit is evident in her co-authorship of 'Pioneering Women Speak: Transformative Leadership on the Rise'. Her contributions to three other books, 'Dyslexia from a Cultural Perspective', 'The Bigger Picture Book of Amazing Dyslexics and the Jobs They Do', and 'Brilliantly Dyslexic ', further demonstrate her commitment to sharing diverse perspectives.
