 In this episode of Sasquatch Theory, I sit down with Rick Long, a retired law enforcement officer who has spent years exploring the Ocala National Forest in Florida.

Rick recounts a chilling experience at Juniper Springs, where he heard a vocalization strikingly similar to the famous Ohio Howl captured by Matt Moneymaker of the BFRO. The next day, rangers and helicopters flooded the area, claiming to search for a missing boy—but Rick suspects they were looking for something much bigger.

Rick also describes being paced and followed under the moonlight, strange audio recordings he’s captured, and his own theories about the Patterson–Gimlin Patty footage and the Minnesota Iceman.

From Florida swamps to the legends of Bigfoot evidence, Rick Long’s stories combine boots-on-the-ground research with the perspective of a retired officer who has seen—and heard—things most people can’t explain.
