Psalm 103 talks about the benefits of the Lord. The benefits that you inherit as a result of becoming a child of God. These benefits include forgiveness, health, joy, strength and so much more. It’s so important to remember God’s benefits, so that when Satan tries to lie to us, we remember whose child we are! We are children of God, and therefore heirs to the promise and recipients of His benefits. Remember God’s benefits daily and proclaim them over your life.

The name of Jesus is where the power is. So often, I hear Christians pray these big, long, beautiful prayers – but they don’t once utter the name of Jesus. If you don’t speak the name of Jesus when you pray, your prayers do not count. Jesus tells us time and time again that He is the only way to the Father and that when we go to God and ask Him for anything, we are to go before Him in the name of Jesus. The name of Jesus heals. The name of Jesus saves. The name of Jesus makes demons shudder. If you want your prayers answered, speak the NAME OF JESUS.

I had the great honor of once again sitting down with my good friend, Riley Stephenson. Riley is an evangelist. His whole ministry is about reaching the lost and getting souls to Jesus one conversation at a time. He spends his time teaching, training, and equipping the Body of Christ to go out into the world and do what we are all called to do: save souls. I hope when you listen to this interview, it motivates you to use whatever gift or calling God gave you to go reach the lost in your community. One of the most important things I’m taking away from this conversation, is that we can all go out and reach the lost, regardless of who we are or how we may feel. We are not moved by how we feel, but we should be moved by what God tells us to do, and He told us ALL to “go out into the world and spread the gospel”. Enjoy!

We cover so much in this episode. Today, we dive into Ephesians 1 & 2 and talk about how on the day we believed, we were marked with a seal – The Holy Spirit. There was nothing we could ever do to earn our salvation other than have faith in God. It was in that moment – the moment we believed – that we received the promised salvation in Christ Jesus. After that is when the work begins. We don’t work to earn salvation, we work to show our faith. We work and we serve because we love God and have truly come to a revelation of what Jesus did for us on the cross. When we believe that, how could we not want to live every day and every moment for Him? We also talk about how powerful the name of Jesus is. Jesus means “God saves”. It’s at the name of Jesus that demons shudder, and it’s at the name of Jesus that every knee will bow and every tongue will confess He is Lord. This episode is definitely one of my favorites. Enjoy!

Overcoming the world starts by having faith in who Jesus is, what He said, and what He did for you. Only once you fully grasp what Jesus did for you on the cross, will you truly be able to overcome the world. We overcome the world when we stop being a slave to sin. We overcome the world when we stop being a slave to fear. We overcome the world, especially, when we stop caring what other people think about us. So often, we allow the fear of man and the fear of what people think about us hold us back from God’s purpose for our lives. Overcoming the world means getting rid of that fear and having faith in God. When you let go of your worry, fear, and sin, and really believe that Jesus took it all for you on the cross, you will truly begin to overcome the world and you will truly begin to walk in God’s purpose for your life.

We are called to honor God with our bodies. When we become baptized and born again, we become filled with the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit dwells within us – within our bodies. We are no longer our own. We have the Holy Spirit living inside of us! Therefore, we must live and act as though we have the Holy Spirit dwelling within us. If you truly believed you had the Holy Spirit inside of you, would you allow your body to get dragged into sin? Would you dishonor your body by abusing it with drugs, alcohol, and food? We need to start taking the fact that our body is the temple of the Holy Spirit seriously. In today’s episode we talk about all the ways in which we can start to honor our bodies just as God has called us to do! Honoring your body is so worth it, and it greatly pleases the Lord.
