About this listen

In this special episode of Habano del Podcasto, we light up three of the rarest Cuban Limited Edition cigars, generously gifted by our fan-turned-friend, Stuart Warren from Glasgow.

These cigars aren’t just smokes—they’re coveted collector’s items, nearly impossible to find and a true privilege to experience.

Of course, securing who got to smoke what was another story entirely. To avoid any cigar theft (looking at you, Tallham), we had to hold a random draw—because let’s be honest, some of us wouldn’t have played fair otherwise.

The Lineup – A Rare Treat for Cigar Aficionados

  • H. Upmann Connossieur B (Smoked by Omar) – Measuring 5 7/8 inches with a 54 ring gauge, this cigar was introduced in 2018 as a La Casa del Habano exclusive. Part of the legendary H. Upmann Connossieur line, it is revered for its elegance and refinement—a true connoisseur’s choice.
  • Ramón Allones 2020 Edición Regional - Sr. Henry - Exclusivo Alemania (Smoked by Tallham) – A Germany-exclusive release, created in honor of Heinrich Villiger’s 90th birthday, one of the biggest names in the cigar industry. Featuring the Geniales vitola (5.9 inches, 54 ring gauge), this limited-run cigar was restricted to just 18,000 numbered boxes, making it one of the most sought-after Ramón Allones regional editions.
  • Partagás Legado Edición Limitada 2020 (Smoked by Adham) – A Limited Edition release from Habanos S.A., featuring specially aged Cuban tobacco. With a 6.1-inch length and 48 ring gauge, this is one of the most difficult-to-find Partagás releases in recent years and is already fetching premium prices on the secondary market.

Inside This Episode

✔️ What makes Cuban Limited Editions so special? Are they truly worth the hype, or are we all just caught up in the rarity chase?

✔️ The great cigar draw: The moment we realized that a “random selection” was the only way to keep things civil.

✔️ Pairing cigars the right way: Omar swears by coffee, while Adham debates whether he can ever go back to smoking regular, non-limited cigars.

✔️ Tallham’s deep dive into cigar reviewing: The moment he discovered that silence, a notebook, and a good cigar might be his perfect evening.

✔️ Cigar trivia that will blow your mind: How Churchill used British spies to secure his personal Cuban stash, and why JFK made sure his humidors were full before signing the embargo.

✔️ The generosity of a fan from Scotland: How Stuart’s gift turned this episode into one of our most memorable yet.

And of course, no episode is complete without cigar-related chaos. From Tallham almost running off with all three cigars, to an ash disaster mid-episode, and Adham officially declaring himself a “limited edition cigar guy,” this one had plenty of laughs along the way.
