 日本にブラジル音楽を広めた第一人者である吉田和雄がパーソナリティを務め、ボサノヴァやブラジル音楽を中心にお届けする音楽番組 「大塚商会Presents Kazuo Yoshida’s BOSSAMANIA」。時にはゲストを迎え、生演奏も披露します。モータースポーツの頂点といえばF1ですがそれ以外のモータースポーツもブラジルでは盛ん。今回取り上げるのは迫力満載の「フォーミュラ・トラック」。その名の通りトラックでコースを爆走する競技です。レースで使うトラックは重さ5トン程度のトレーラーヘッド。最高速度は160キロのリミッターがつけられていますが、迫力のある走りがブラジル人の心を鷲掴みにしているようです。 毎回一つのテーマでお送りする「ポント・ヂ・ヴィスタ」はトン・ジョビンやジョアン・ジルベルトらとならびボサノヴァの立役者の一人であるカルロス・リラ。セルジオ・メンデスやポール・ウィンター、セバスチャン・ネト、ミルトン・バナナとともにボサノヴァの「控えめの美学」を実演して見せたアルバム「The Sound Of Ipanema」は必聴です!!
