About this listen

In Vrindavan, villagers prayed to Lord Indra every year forgood rainfall and crops. One year, Krishna suggested they worship Govardhan Hill instead, as it gave grass and shade to their cattle. The villagers agreed, which angered Indra, who sent heavy rains to punish them. Frightened, the villagers turned to Krishna for help. Krishna lifted the mighty Govardhan Mountain on his little finger and sheltered everyone beneath it. After seven days of rain, Indra realized his mistake, apologized, and the villagers began worshiping Govardhan every year.

Moral : True devotion lies in understanding nature’s gifts and respecting what truly sustains life. Ego should never come before humility and protection of others.
