In any strange land, prison, or painful season, we can still sing the Lord’s song—because worship flows not from location, but from revelation.

This message isn’t about worship as music; it’s about worship as surrender, trust, and revelation. On this mountain, Abraham didn’t just raise a knife; he raised his worship. And he walked away with more than his son…he walked away with a new name for God: Jehovah Jireh. Worship is where Sacrifice meets Surrender, Surrender leads to Trust, and Trust unlocks the Treasure.

Faith is not merely what moves mountains but what clings to God when buried beneath them. God meets us in the tension between “He is good” and “What the heck?” and calls us to remember His past faithfulness even in present pain. True faith anchors itself in who God has been and who He has promised to be, refusing to let present suffering rewrite the story. Trust Him in the in-between and let your hope declare the future He has already secured.

One of the biggest misbeliefs in Western Christianity is that God’s ultimate goal is our happiness and prosperity. When we believe this, we start thinking God exists to serve us rather than us serving Him. We were created for Him, not the other way around (Colossians 1:16, Romans 11:36). True joy isn’t found in chasing happiness but in living for Christ as Lord.

In a world obsessed with likes, comments, and applause, many of us unknowingly become addicted to the approval of others. We live for validation, compromise convictions, and overextend ourselves—all to avoid disappointing people. But the truth is, we can’t please everyone. And the good news is—we don’t have to. This message challenges us to break free from the performance trap and step into the freedom of God's approval.
