About this listen
So many have a story about how they survived the personal torments of the lockdown of 2020. Matt shares his story with me on this episode. Matt St. Amand has been a writer for most of his life, it just comes naturally to him.
Spending so much time working in a cubicle every day, he would come home exhausted because of his sedentary life style. When he was ordered to stay home along with the rest of the world, he made a decision to work on his life and improve his fitness levels by digging out his mountain bike and cycling.
His first trips were local but soon became longer and longer. Since that first day of cycling in May 2020 - he has covered more than 50,000 kilometers throughout Essex County and decided to share his personal cycling logs in his latest book. The Kilominator: Cycling Through a Global Pandemic In Search of Sanity & Stability
More information about Matthew and The Kilominator can be found at www.kilominator.com. He is also the author of the law enforcement book Gas of Tank: A Canadian Law Enforcement Odyssey 1979 – 2019, www.gasoftank.com.
