In dieser Folge von “Hämophilie Daily - Wie sich Alltag und Sport meistern lassen” habe ich mit Rainer Stähler gesprochen. Er hat selbst eine schwere Hämophilie A und arbeitet in der IT. Rainer ist Vater von drei Kindern und hat eine Enkelin. Wir haben in dieser Folge über den “Bluterskandal” in den 1980er-Jahren gesprochen, wegen dem er an HCV (Hepatitis C) erkrankte und welche gesellschaftlichen Schwierigkeiten diese Infizierung für ihn und seine Familie mit sich brachte. Außerdem haben wir über seine Zeit als Leistungssportler unterhalten und die Frage geklärt, warum er trotz zweimaliger Qualifikation nie an paralympischen Spielen teilgenommen hat.
