About this listen

The early NHL ratings and projections are starting to roll in, so Matt and Blake have you covered as to where the people and algorithm's have put the Canucks' chances. The guys look at the playoff likelihoods, and the EA NHL ratings as well, and if the Canucks are really better or worse than the fan consensus seems to be. TSN's Frank Corrado joins to give his 2 cents on the prognostications, and whether the Canucks may have one of the NHL's widest spectrums of possibilities this seasons. He also jumps into the early Team USA snubs of Boeser and Demko, and the possibility of McDavid signing a short term deal to stay in Edmonton. Then the guys are joined by TSN's Farhan Lalji to talk about the start of the NFL season. They get into the good starts for a couple of local linemen vying for NFL jobs, they debate the expectations for the Seahawks season, plus a quick peek ahead to the Lions last push for the CFL playoffs. Matt and Blake finish up with look at how Thomas Müller is enjoying beautiful BC, the Canadian content of the Champions League Schedule, a wrap up of the baseball story for the week, plus the Can-con at the US Open continue to battle deep.
