About this listen

 There's an interesting legend associated with the Puranas. There were two characters named Jay and Vijay, who worked as Lord Vishnu's gatekeepers in Vaikuntha in the Satyuga. The two brothers were loyal to their masters, and they executed their duties efficiently. However, after a while, Jaya and Vijaya started taking pride in being the servants of none other than Lord Vishnu, the one who protects life on earth.
