Ashira was a late bloomer in the movement world, she spent most of her childhood and pre teen years dipping her toes in movement but mostly focusing on music.
It wasn’t until her mid 20’s when she tried Pilates reformer that she found a sustainable way to not only consistently be active, but to enjoy being active.
Ashira tried acro yoga for the first time at a music festival in 2012 in Costa Rica. She dove deep into the world of acro yoga in 2017 in Orange County, CA and never turned back. Today she practices less of the acro yoga side and more partner acrobatics (Icarian and standing), hand-balancing and loves cross training with Pilates reformer, barre3 and yoga (primarily vinyasa).
