About this listen

 Vera Alexanderova is a Sydney-based textile artist and designer of clothing and interior items. She studied fashion design in Moscow. After living in Mongolia for a while and having seen local felting, Vera fell in love with the material and started creating woll, silk and lace clothing and art objects. She describes this process as "magical". - Вера Александрова — сиднейский художник по текстилю и дизайнер одежды и предметов интерьера. Она изучала модельерное дело в Москве. Прожив некоторое время в Монголии и увидев, как местные жители занимаются валянием из шерсти, Вера влюбилась в этот материал и теперь создает одежду и предметы искусства из шерсти с шелком и иногда кружевом.
