Altersarmut bei Frauen wird in Österreich ein immer größeres Problem. Das führen die Armutszahlen, die die Statistik Austria kürzlich präsentiert hat, eindrücklich vor Augen.
32 Prozent, also fast jede dritte alleinlebende Pensionistin, war im Vorjahr armutsgefährdet. 2020 war es noch jede vierte. Alleinlebende Männer in Pension sind hingegen nur halb so oft armutsgefährdet.
