About this listen
Daniel is currently in the role of Global Workplace & Wellbeing Lead at Dentsu International who are a global marketing and advertising agency.
Although Daniel’s current role is within the global HR team he started out working for the NHS in the UK and also worked in the private sector. He was employed as both a nurse and health consultant to businesses, supporting employee wellness with his health knowledge.
He then went on to explore other cultures and countries, including Hong Kong. He began at this time to act as a consultant to companies where he was able to explore and advise on the wellbeing propositions being offered.
Daniel now has an in-house role at Dentsu responsible for the wellbeing of employees across the global organisation.
In today’s podcast Daniel talks us through:
- The experience of working in the wellbeing/wellness sector in other countries,
- The specific initiatives that have been successfully introduced at Dentsu to support employees, and the importance of collecting data
- The cultural differences that exist when looking at wellbeing/wellness propositions in a global organisation and how these are managed
- How wellbeing initiatives have been affected by the Hybrid and Remote working environment
- What he sees as the current wellbeing challenges facing leaders
- The wellbeing key pillars and principles at Dentsu
- What the future opportunities look like for wellbeing in the workplace and what advice he would give to wellbeing leaders
