About this listen

In the latest episode of Wag Your Chin For Better Helth – Terry and Ashley embark to create a series that will address a common, yet often misunderstood health issue, pain.

This episode doesn't aim to provide medical advice, but rather to supply information with the goal of providing useful information, enabling the best decisions to be made, and to understand some of the options available.

We attempt to establish some basic information about pain, its potential causes, the treatment you may expect from Western medicine, how to advocate for yourself, how to cultivate awareness, and how to identify where your pain might be coming from (which may surprise you); and much more.

In this episode we barely scratch the surface of this deep and complex topic, but we have tried to provide some introductory food for thought.

In future episodes we plan to explore and discuss modalities that may be helpful in the treatment of pain, cultivating awareness of your daily movement, getting better at describing your pain, and what you can do to help yourself.
