فوق هذه الملابس، ألبس الله رئيس الكهنة رداء أزرق. وعلى الرداء الأزرق، ارتدى أفوده، ثم وضع الصدرة. كانت الصدرة الموضوعة على حضن رئيس الكهنة مصنوعة من قماش سميك مطوي مزدوج ومنسوج فنيا من الذهب والأزرق والأرجواني والقرمزي والكتان المنسوج الناعم، وكان حجمه ممتدا في طوله وعرضه. تم وضع اثني عشر حجرا كريما على هذا الصدرة، ونقشت في هذه الأحجار الكريمة أسماء أسباط إسرائيل الاثني عشر.
ثم ارتدى العمامة المصنوعة من الكتان المنسوج الناعم. ووضعت صفيحة من الذهب الخالص، نقشت عليها كلمات "قُدْسٌ لِلرَّبِّ"، على حبل أزرق متصل بمقدمة العمامة. هذه أوصاف موجزة للثياب والعمامة والصفيحة الذهبية التي كان يرتديها رؤساء الكهنة.
