 The Duke Football team begins the 2025 season on Thursday night against Elon, and we’re ready to break down how the team is going to play. But we can’t do it alone. On Episode 744, we are proud to welcome Anna Snyder, the new Duke beat writer for the Fayetteville Observer, to the show! Anna has done an in depth look at the Duke team, and we get to know her and her ties to Duke before she began her role as Duke beat writer just a few weeks ago. We begin with the offense, led by standout transfer Darien Mensah at quarterback. We discuss who the key players will be at each position on the field as the offense tries to move the chains and score points. We get into the defense as well, which is led by preseason All-American Chandler Rivers. We highlight where the key positions will be and how the D will seek to keep their opponents out of the endzone and also try to give the offense short field via stops and takeaways.
