About this listen

Lisa Keegan-Hill and Sara Hood are ceramic artists who started their collaboration after graduating from the MA program at University of Central Lancashire. In this episode, you’ll hear about fascinating topics like our creative potential, trauma, childhood experience, overcoming creative blocks, healing and our power to make a beautiful change in the world. Lisa Keegan-Hill is an ex psychotherapist turned ceramic artist. Her masters degree was based on the unfolding of her creative process and the impact her childhood had on the struggle of owning her creativity. Lisa’s work is a mixture of her experience as a psychotherapist, a client and her commentary of what it is like to live in the crazy world we are living in. Sara Hood is a neurodivergent artist making work about living with neurodiversity (Autism, Dyslexia and the symptoms of ADHD) and PTSD and the challenges that brings. She does this in a way which turns a negative into a positive. Sara uses her work to inform people and encourage them to begin to have healthy conversations about the struggles they may have. It is her hope that this can bring change within society, which will help integrate people rather than marginalising them. She works in ceramic sculpture, installation, oil paintings, traditional print and drawing. Follow Lisa: Instagram: / lisakeeganhillceramics Website: https://lisakeeganhillceramics.weebly...
