Wir wurden auf dieser Erde geboren, aber vorher kannte Gott uns schon. Er wusste, dass wir als Sünder geboren werden würden, und rettete uns Gläubige durch seine Taufe, die alle Sünden der Welt hinwegnahm. Er hat alle Gläubigen gerettet und sie alle zu seinem Volk gemacht.
All dies ist das Ergebnis der Gnade Gottes. Wie es in Psalm 8:4 heißt: “Was ist der Mensch, daß du sein gedenkst?” Die Erlösten, die von allen Sünden gerettet sind, sind die Empfänger seiner besonderen Liebe. Sie sind Seine Kinder.
