قال لنا الله إنه سيلتقي بنا هنا على كرسي الرحمة. داخل تابوت الشهادة، كان هناك عصا هارون التي تبرعمت، ووعاء ذهبي يحمل المن، ولوحين من الحجر منقوش عليهما الوصايا العشر. في الزوايا الأربع لمقعد الرحمة، تم وضع أربع حلقات بحيث يمكن حمل تابوت الشهادة. تم صنع عمودين من خشب السنط ومغطى بالذهب، ويمكن وضع هذه الأعمدة من خلال الحلقات لحمل الفلك.
