Imagine not knowing what being healthy felt like. For as long as you can remember, every morning you’ve woken up feeling exhausted. Every week you’d get sick. A simple activity like taking a shower was painful. This is often the case for children growing up with chronic diseases, and is the story told by my guest Amanda Elise Love. She was diagnosed with fibromyalgia at a young age, leaving her unable to do normal everyday activities. Since then, she has taken control of her health and has found ways to mitigate and reverse her symptoms through lifestyle interventions.

Amanda Elise Love is a registered holistic nutritionist. Amanda’s podcast: https://apple.co/2TgYURy

In this episode we discuss:

  • What was it like to deal with fibromyalgia at a young age?
  • What is the most important pillar of health for those who are dealing with a chronic disease?
  • How might childhood trauma affect our physical health?
  • What did Amanda do nutritionally to improve her fibromyalgia condition?
