Dr. Ken speaks on his frustration and lack of patience for pessimists who cannot believe they can finish their studies for reasons such as it being too late to return or that they simply lack the ability to do so at all. Dr. Ken tells the story of Patricia Sias Ellis who recently made her trip across the stage at the age of 79 despite numerous obstacles in her way to ask Truth Nation what their excuse might be. Urging Truth Nation to continue their academic studies, he also tells listeners to be wary of the language they use to describe the obstacles in their way and to express a chance for higher education as an "I get to" opposed to other negative language. Later in the hour Dr. Ken speaks on the sad story of a 5-alarm fire that has left 5 dead & hundreds homeless on 27th and highland along with details and harrowing firsthand accounts from survivors and first responders.
