В Матфея 1:1-2 написано: «Родословие Иисуса Христа, Сына Давидова, Сына Авраамова. Авраам родил Исаака; Исаак родил Иакова; Иаков родил Иуду и братьев его».
Почему Библия говорит здесь, что Евангелие от Матфея — это книга родословия Иисуса Христа, Сына Давидова и Сына Авраамова? Авраам — это отец веры. А Иисус Христос, Сын Давида, есть Царь царей. Следовательно, Его родословие — это царская родословная. Как продолжить эту царскую родословную? Как нам и далее рождать детей веры? Как мы можем и впредь приносить духовные плоды? Именно на эти вопросы Бог хочет ответить в вышеприведённых отрывках из Священного Писания.
