 1989年、チェコスロバキアで起こった民主革命は無血革命であったため、「ビロード革命」と誇りをもって呼ばれている。その翌年開催された「プラハの春国際音楽祭」のオープニングには、共産主義政権を嫌って国外に亡命していた名匠ラファエル・クーベリックが42年ぶりに帰国し、スメタナの「わが祖国」を指揮した。TOKYO FMはその模様を深夜に生中継。当時、チェコのオーケストラで活動していた大嶋義実さんと、中継を担当した田中が、チェコの民主革命において音楽が果たした役割を語り合う。曲は「マルタの祈り」、「モルダウ」他。 Learn more about your ad choices.
