About this listen
Once upon a time, there was a woman who knew what it felt like to go it alone. She wore many hats—mother, wife, friend —and on the outside, everything looked just fine. But inside, she sometimes felt stuck, isolated, and unsure of how to move forward. That woman is me, Michelle Porterfield, and today I want to share a story that might sound a lot like yours.
In this episode, I open up about the seasons of struggle we all face, especially when it comes to our relationship with alcohol and the patterns that keep us feeling small. I talk about the power of community—the kind where you can show up as you are, without labels or judgment, and be truly seen and supported. That’s why I created The Sisterhood Collective, a private, faith-based space for women who are ready to cut back or go alcohol-free, to heal, and to grow together.
You’ll hear about my own journey through tough times, the lessons I’ve learned from coaching and being coached, and why I believe that real change happens when we stop hiding and start connecting. I share stories of women who have taken brave steps, and I invite you to reflect on your own path: Who might be missing out on the best version of you if you keep going it alone?
If you’re craving encouragement, accountability, and a safe place to be honest, this episode—and The Sisterhood Collective—are for you. The doors are open, and I’d love for you to join us. If you’re interested or want to add one-on-one coaching, just email me at Michelle@setfreesisterhood.com.
Let’s walk this journey together, one honest step at a time.
With love, Michelle
