Der Niederländer Anton Corbijn gilt als einer der wichtigsten Gegenwarts-Fotografen. Neben seiner jahrzehntelangen Zusammenarbeit mit Depeche Mode und U2 hat er auch ikonische Albencover für etliche Bands entworfen und legendäre Musikvideos gedreht. Mit dem Joy Division-Biopic „Control“ legte Corbijn 2008 sein gefeiertes Regiedebüt vor, danach folgten mit „The American", "A Most Wanted Man“ und "Life" noch drei weitere Spielfilme mit Starbesetzung und ambitionierten Inhalten. Anlässlich einer Werkschau seiner Arbeiten im Kunstforum Wien hat Christian Fuchs ebendort mit dem Multitalent Anton Corbijn gesprochen: Über sein eigenes Filmschaffen, Einflüsse und Inspirationen.
