About this listen

The season’s over - and it’s time for the verdicts.

In this episode, Shane, Jeff & Josh sit down to review the highs, lows and absolute madness of the 2024/25 football season. From Newcastle United’s unpredictable run to the biggest flops and surprise packages of the year, we’re breaking it all down with our usual mix of banter, debates and bold takes.

We kick things off with a bit of general chat - Jeff’s just back from Vegas and Josh had a wild birthday in Blackpool.

Then it’s straight into our End of Season Review - covering the best and worst team performances across the league. We rank the likes of Arsenal, Spurs, Villa and Palace, and give our honest take on where Newcastle ended up.

In the second half, we focus on players and managers:

  • Who was our Newcastle Player of the Season?
  • What was the goal of the year?
  • Who massively underperformed?
  • Who makes our Team of the Season?

Each of us brought our own XI, let's see how that ends up.

We also pick out our Player of the Season, Young Player of the Season, and Manager of the Year - plus some surprise shout-outs that you probably won’t see coming.

Finally, we wrap up the episode with a call for fan involvement - we want to bring some listeners on for future episodes. So if you’ve got strong football opinions and like a laugh, get in touch!
