About this listen

 有限会社元祖鯱もなか本店は、1907年（明治40年）に初代が伏見で お店を開いたのが始まりで、1921年に誕生した金の しゃちほこをかたどった最中「元祖 鯱もなか」がロングセラーを続けていた中、コロナ禍の影響で売上が大きく減少。一時は跡継ぎの問題もあり、廃業を考えていた所、SNSを使った宣伝がバズって、売上がコロナ前の水準にまで回復したそうです。また、15人の従業員のうち10名が女性で、その中でも正社員が3名と女性の雇用創出に貢献。他にも和菓子業界は厳しいイメージがある中、完全週休二日制を実現。働きやすい環境を提供するなど、SDGsの取り組みについても伺いました。
