藤原鎌足公と中大兄皇子が、国家改新の密談を交わしたことから、
「談い（かたらい）山」と呼ばれています。
十三重塔（重要文化財）は、藤原鎌足を弔うために建立した談山神社の
シンボルで、高さは17ｍ。
室町時代に再建されたもので、木造十三重塔としては世界唯一です。
その周りに、素晴らしい光り輝く新緑の世界は拡がります！
