About this listen

　最愛の妻を失い、静かな川辺で独り暮らしを送る老人は、ある冬の終わり、一羽の傷ついたツグミと出会う。鳥の足には子どもの手で結ばれた小さな手紙があり、「この鳥を、かならず帰してあげてください」と綴られていた。やがて鳥を介した短い手紙のやりとりが始まり、老人と見知らぬ送り主は、言葉を交わすことなく遠く心を結び合っていく。
　季節がめぐり、渡り鳥が姿を消したある春の日、老人のもとを少女が訪れる。彼女もまた家族を喪い、鳥に自分の思いを託していた。
　ふたりはそっと空を見上げる。言葉にならない想いと、静かな祈りを胸に――。
　鳥たちが渡る空の下、失われたものを抱えた人と人が、見えない絆で優しくつながっていく物語。
