About this listen

Nick Graalman is a freelance camera operator and cinematographer based in South Australia. He is considered one of the early pioneers in motion control time-lapse photography, and has received several awards for his films that showcase the impact our species is having on the environment. In his most recent film, Nick and his partner spent a year changing almost everything about their lives, from how they commute and source their food to where their waste ends up, all with the hope to stay below 2 tonnes of carbon dioxide per person per year (a tough feat, Australia has an average per capita footprint of 17 tonnes). Nick shares some simple (and not so simple) ways you can also live a low carbon life. Want to learn more about Nick and his work?
