On this show, TP and Mel talk with DW from the Heathen Outdoors Podcast. DW was boots on the ground in western North Carolina and eastern Tennessee for about 90 days after Hurricane Helene wrecked havoc in those areas. DW witnessed some heartbreaking things while in the disaster zone but also has some heartwarming stories to tell about his time helping in western North Carolina. He ran supplies to every person he could, with help from donations and other supply hubs along with aiding the local first responders. He has an incredible story to tell, but the story doesn’t end here.
