لَيسَ منذ عهد بعيد، نحن قد أقمنا عشاء ربانيُ في كنيستنا، حيث نحن مرة ثانية تأملنا فى معنىِ الخبزِ والنّبيذِ الذي تشَاركنَا فيه.
سويّة مع معمودية المؤمنين، الطقس الديني للعشاء الربانيِ هو طقس دينيى أمرنا الرب أَنْ نحفظه. شيئ واحد الذي نحن يَجِبُ أَنْ نُدركَه خلال العشاء الربانيِ هو أنه قَدْ محا كل آثامنا خلال المعموديةِ التي استلمَها على جسده والدّم الذي هو سفكه. عندما الرب أخبرنا أن "نَتذكّرُ" الخبز والنّبيذ في العشاء الربانيِ، قصد بأنّنا يَجِبُ أَنْ نؤمن ونَتذكّرَ معموديته وإراقة دمائه في قلوبنا.
