1975 brachte eines meiner absoluten Lieblings-Alben von Elvis Presley hervor: "Today".
Doch es gibt einen Fake rund um das Album. Auf den Wunsch von Elvis oder seinem Produzenten Felton Jarvis wurden die Bass-Spuren von Bassist Duke Bardwell gelöscht und von anderen Spielern neu eingespielt - bis auf die Single-Auskopplung des Albums "T.R.O.U.B.L.E.", weil die schon fertig für die Veröffentlichung war.
Diese Geschichte wird bis heute erzählt - von allen Beteiligten: Duke Bardwell selbst, Elvis' musikalischem Vermächtnisverwalter Ernst Jorgensen, Elvis' Biograph Peter Guralnick und jedem Fan.
