今週、坂の上に訪ねてきてくださったのは、石鎚神社頂上山荘職員の上杉乙姫（おひめ）さん。山好きが高じて、西日本最高峰１９８２ｍの石鎚山頂上にある山荘の職員となった上杉さんに、「小屋開けは歩荷とともに」「山頂グルメ」「石鎚山が織りなす不思議な世界と仲間たち」をキーワードに、その魅力について伺いました。これだけの標高の山頂に山荘があること自体が数少ないそうですが、神社が運営しているとなるとさらに珍しいのだとか。１シーズンで１０００杯以上売り上げたという人気グルメなど、今年のお山開きを前に、石鎚神社頂上山荘ならではの取り組みやエピソードいっぱいです。
