2000年制作の映画なのですが、公開当時は高校生の青春エンタメ映画だなっと思ってましたが、いま見ると、実は社会問題を扱ったことが分かり、エンタメなのに社会派映画だと再発見しました。
しかも2015年頃から話題となったとある問題もちゃんと描いていて、時代を先取りしていました。
