コーヒーという飲みものは、知れば知るほど好奇心を駆り立ててくれる。中でも、豆の焼き加減は奥が深い。誰でも、好みの焼き具合を持っているものなのだが、どの豆も一律に同じ焙煎度というのではもったいない。

ささやかながら、コーヒーでも贅沢はできるのだ。まずは、色々な産地のコーヒーを飲んでみる。そうすると、きっと自分好みの豆と出会えるはずである。好みの豆が見つかれば、今度は、その豆を異なる焙煎度で試してみる。

なんとも贅沢な愉しみ方ではないか。
