 広島と浜田を結ぶルートとして着工されたものの、未完成のまま終わり「幻の広浜鉄道」と 呼ばれる広浜鉄道。 残されたトンネル、橋梁、橋脚などの遺構は、２００８年土木学会から 「今福線コンクリートアーチ橋梁群」として「選奨土木遺産」の認定を受けて」います。 この遺構を巡りながら楽しむ「幻の広浜鉄道今福線ウォーキング大会」が２月２３日（日） 浜田市金城町で開催されます。 豊かな自然の中で、地元の宝・今福線のアドベンチャーウォークを楽しんでみませんか？ ※事前申し込み不要です。 歩きやすい服装、長靴、防寒対策も！ 懐中電灯もご持参ください。
