 日本人の２人に１人が生涯のうち一度はがんになると言われています。 そのうち女性特有といわれるがんには、乳がんと子宮頸がんがあります。 乳がんは３０代から、子宮頸がんは２０代半ばから増え始めるのが特徴です。 一方で、島根県のがん検診を受診する割合は、乳がん、子宮頸がんとも全国平均より低い状況です。がん検診は早い段階で発見し、早期治療につなげるのが目的です。 職場の検診や人間ドック、また各市町村でもがん検診を実施していますので、一度確認してみてはいかがでしょうか。
