דובר לאחרונה אודות החשיבות של קיום מסגרת ה"משפחה" – הרגש האחדות בין ההורים והילדים. וי"ל שגם החלישות בקיום ה"משפחה", כמו כל הצרות, נובעת מהרדיפה אחרי שיטת ה"גויים" שגשמיות ופרנסה הוא יסוד הכל, ולכן בדורות הקודמים, שהאדם הי' מתפרנס מעבודות בבית והמשפחה היתה עוזרת בפרנסה, ובמילא התקיים קשר המשפחתי, משא"כ בדורות אלה שהוקמו "בתי-חרושת" וכיו"ב. כמו המקומות שלוקחים הילדים מבית הוריהם ומוסרים אותם ל"מקצועיים" במוסדות ציבוריים כדי לחנכם... וראו הצרות שיצא מ"חינוך" כזה, מכיון ששכחו שלאדם יש "נשמה", וצריכים את האהבה והיחס המיוחד שבין ההורים להילדים. ועד"ז בעניננו: יש לדעת שלא משנה מהם תנאי המקום והזמן – התורה, ש"לא תהי' מוחלפת", קובעת שחייב להיות קיום וחיזוק למסגרת ה"משפחה". Lately we’ve been discussing the importance of the “family” framework (as it says in parashas Bamidbar, “by their families, by their paternal houses”) – the feeling of connection and unity between parents and children. It could be said that the weakening of the family structure, like all troubles, stems from chasing after the approach of the gentiles, where everything is based on materialism and earning a livelihood. Therefore, in previous generations, when a person worked at home and the family assisted him in earning a livelihood, the family bond was maintained naturally, in contrast to our generation, where people work in factories etc. Some have tried the approach of taking children from their parents and handing them over to be educated by “professionals” in public institutions, but we see the terrible troubles that resulted, because they forgot that a person has a soul, and needs love and attention from their parents, and a connection with them. Similarly: one must know that regardless of the conditions of the place and time – the Torah, which “will not be changed,” establishes that the family unit must be sustained and strengthened.
