  • Do you need to take Progesterone?
    Dec 23 2025

✨ Do you need to take progesterone? ✨

This is one of the most common questions I’m asked — and the answer is it depends.

Progesterone is a hormone that naturally balances oestrogen. During perimenopause and menopause, levels drop, which can affect sleep, mood and cycle changes.

👉 If you still have your womb and you’re taking oestrogen as part of HRT, you usually need progesterone too. It protects the lining of the womb and reduces health risks.
👉 If you’ve had a hysterectomy, you often don’t need progesterone.

📊 In the UK, HRT use has risen sharply in recent years, with millions of women now accessing treatment — and for many, progesterone is part of that picture. Worldwide, menopause care is finally getting the attention it deserves.

Progesterone may also support better sleep, calmer mood and symptom balance for some women — but it’s not one-size-fits-all.

    The key?
    💚 Personalised care
💚 The right hormones for your body
💚 A conversation that listens to you

You’re not broken — you’re navigating change. And you deserve support.

  • Is your mum or nan acting weird lately?
    Dec 22 2025

“Is Your Mum or Nan Acting a Bit… Different Lately?”

    Snappier than usual?
More tired, emotional, forgetful or just not quite herself?

It might not be “just age”…
    It could be menopause.

So many women go through perimenopause and menopause without real understanding or support — and the people around them often notice the changes before they do.

Hormonal shifts can affect mood, energy, sleep, memory, confidence and how a woman shows up in everyday life.
But instead of curiosity and compassion, women are often labelled as “moody”, “difficult” or “losing it”.

In this short episode, I’m talking about how menopause can show up in mums, nans, aunties and partners — and why awareness, patience and support make such a difference.

Menopause doesn’t just affect the woman going through it.
It affects families, relationships and generations.

A little understanding goes a long way.

If this made you think of someone you love… share it with them.

  • The Three C’s I recommend for peri and menopause
    Dec 22 2025

My Three C’s: Collagen, Creatine & Casein

When it comes to perimenopause and menopause, women are often told to do more, eat less and somehow “fix” their bodies.

But what your body actually needs in midlife is support.

In this episode, I’m breaking down The Three C’s I regularly recommend for peri and menopausal women — collagen, creatine and casein — and why they can be such powerful tools when used correctly.

This isn’t about supplements as magic fixes.
It’s about understanding how hormonal changes affect muscle mass, bone health, joints, recovery, energy, sleep and strength — and how these three can help support those systems.

    We talk about:
    • why maintaining muscle in midlife is non-negotiable
    • how creatine supports strength, energy and cognitive function
    • why collagen matters for joints, connective tissue and skin health
    • how casein can support muscle maintenance, recovery and satiety
    • and how to use them safely, practically and without overwhelm

    Midlife nutrition isn’t about restriction.
It’s about nourishment, strategy and working with your body.

When women are educated, they stop fearing food and supplements — and start making confident, informed choices.

This episode is for any woman who wants to feel stronger, more supported and more in control of her health in perimenopause and menopause.

  • Pelvic floor and Opps moments
    Dec 22 2025

Let’s Talk Pelvic Floor (Because It Matters More Than You Think)

Your pelvic floor does a lot more than most women realise — and yet it’s one of the most neglected parts of the body, especially in midlife.

It supports your bladder, bowel and uterus.
It affects continence, posture, core strength and intimacy.
And hormonal changes during perimenopause and menopause can weaken pelvic floor muscles if they’re not supported properly.

Leaking when you laugh, sneeze or exercise isn’t “just part of getting older”.
A heavy feeling, discomfort or reduced core stability aren’t things you should ignore.

In this episode, I’m talking honestly about why pelvic floor health matters, what happens to these muscles as hormones change, and why how you train them is just as important as that you train them.

I’ve also included a guided pelvic floor workout — because guessing, clenching or overdoing it isn’t the answer.
This is about learning to activate, strengthen and relax the pelvic floor correctly, safely and effectively.

Pelvic floor work isn’t about embarrassment or fear.
It’s about confidence, strength and long-term health.

When your pelvic floor is supported, everything else works better.

This episode is for every woman who wants to move with confidence, feel supported from the inside out and stop putting this conversation off.

  • Nights out over 50!!
    Dec 22 2025

Nights Out Over 50… Who Approved This?

Remember when a “night out” meant dancing till 2am, questionable shoes and zero consequences the next day?

Fast forward to over 50 and suddenly:
    • heels feel like a personal attack
    • one glass of wine comes with a full-body negotiation
    • the music is too loud, the lights are too bright and you’re Googling “best pillow for neck pain” by 10pm

And don’t even get me started on the recovery time.

In this episode, I’m laughing my way through what nights out really look like in midlife — from planning outfits that won’t cause hot flushes, to the sacred pre-night-out nap, to waking up feeling like you’ve run a marathon… emotionally.

This isn’t about giving up fun.
    It’s about redefining it.

Because nights out over 50 still include laughter, connection and joy — just with better shoes, earlier taxis and a deep appreciation for being home by a reasonable hour.

    If you’ve ever:
    • checked the menu before agreeing to go
    • considered cancelling but didn’t want to be “that friend”
    • needed two days to recover from one evening

    …this one’s for you.

Midlife nights out may look different — but the laughs are better, the friendships are deeper and the memories are still worth it.

  • Ok ladies - let’s talk VAG
    Dec 22 2025

    Ok ladies…Let’s Talk Vag!

Vaginal health is still one of the most misunderstood — and most ignored — parts of women’s health.
    And that needs to change.

Because dryness, irritation, recurrent infections, discomfort during sex, changes in discharge or smell, and feeling “not quite right down there” are not things you should just put up with — especially in midlife.

Hormonal changes during perimenopause and menopause directly affect vaginal tissue, pH, elasticity and natural lubrication.
Yet so many women are left feeling embarrassed, dismissed or unsure where to turn.

In this episode, we’re talking openly about vaginal health — what’s normal, what’s not, and how to properly care for your vagina as your hormones change.

    This is about:
    • understanding what’s happening in your body
    • breaking the shame and silence around vaginal health
    • knowing when symptoms are hormonal — and when to seek support
    • learning how to protect comfort, confidence and quality of life

Your vagina doesn’t stop mattering in midlife.
    Your comfort doesn’t stop mattering.
And your health should never be a taboo topic.

This conversation is honest, educational and empowering — because informed women make confident decisions.

If you’ve ever had questions but didn’t know who to ask… this episode is for you.

  • Why is menopause viewed so negatively by society
    Dec 22 2025

Why Does Society View Menopause So Negatively?

    Menopause isn’t a failure.
    It isn’t the end.
And it certainly isn’t something to be embarrassed about.

Yet for decades, menopause has been wrapped in silence, stigma and stereotypes — reduced to jokes, whispers and the idea that women are somehow “past their best”.

    We’re taught to fear it.
    To hide it.
    To push through it quietly.

    And the result?
Women blaming themselves for normal hormonal changes, feeling isolated, unsupported and questioning their worth at a time when they actually need more understanding than ever.

In this episode, I’m talking honestly about why menopause has been framed so negatively by society — and why it’s time to change the narrative.

    Menopause is not weakness.
    It’s transition.
    It’s adaptation.
It’s wisdom, strength and a deeper understanding of yourself.

When women are informed, supported and empowered, menopause becomes a chapter of growth — not something to survive.

This conversation is about reclaiming midlife, breaking the stigma and reminding women that they are not broken — they are evolving.

If you’ve ever felt dismissed, unseen or made to feel “less than” because of menopause… this one is for you.
