  • Do you need to take Progesterone?
    Dec 23 2025

✨ Do you need to take progesterone? ✨

This is one of the most common questions I’m asked — and the answer is it depends.

Progesterone is a hormone that naturally balances oestrogen. During perimenopause and menopause, levels drop, which can affect sleep, mood and cycle changes.

👉 If you still have your womb and you’re taking oestrogen as part of HRT, you usually need progesterone too. It protects the lining of the womb and reduces health risks.
👉 If you’ve had a hysterectomy, you often don’t need progesterone.

📊 In the UK, HRT use has risen sharply in recent years, with millions of women now accessing treatment — and for many, progesterone is part of that picture. Worldwide, menopause care is finally getting the attention it deserves.

Progesterone may also support better sleep, calmer mood and symptom balance for some women — but it’s not one-size-fits-all.

    The key?
    💚 Personalised care
💚 The right hormones for your body
💚 A conversation that listens to you

You’re not broken — you’re navigating change. And you deserve support.

  • Is your mum or nan acting weird lately?
    Dec 22 2025

“Is Your Mum or Nan Acting a Bit… Different Lately?”

    Snappier than usual?
More tired, emotional, forgetful or just not quite herself?

It might not be “just age”…
    It could be menopause.

So many women go through perimenopause and menopause without real understanding or support — and the people around them often notice the changes before they do.

Hormonal shifts can affect mood, energy, sleep, memory, confidence and how a woman shows up in everyday life.
But instead of curiosity and compassion, women are often labelled as “moody”, “difficult” or “losing it”.

In this short episode, I’m talking about how menopause can show up in mums, nans, aunties and partners — and why awareness, patience and support make such a difference.

Menopause doesn’t just affect the woman going through it.
It affects families, relationships and generations.

A little understanding goes a long way.

If this made you think of someone you love… share it with them.
