a must listen
I have been going to therapy for years and have recently been working on my attachment style and early childhood traumas. I have been seeing someone and was having doubts after doom scrolling and seeing all these "know your worth" and " if they don't want a relationship walk away", but after listening to the chapter on change, it completely changed my perspective and I now see how much she cares about me, that she's facing her scariest demons head on for me and trying her best to open up

Best therapy book I've ever read.
This book will be the seminal book about therapy and healing for our era. ----- It is concise, comprehensuve, relatable and provides clear actionable steps for healing and change. ----- It holds obviously-lived wisdom from a therapist who can compassionately hold space for our traumas, because she's been there. ----- The constant encouragement to FEEL our feelings instead of merely analyzing the situstion is, I believe, the key to our healing and growth. ----- Thank you, thank you, Annie Zimmerman, for bringing this to the world; for allowing us to have you in our pocket. You are changing the world.
